News: Calling on Digital Media artists to submit work for Projected Weekends – 28/02/10

The Digital Hub is inviting digital media artists to submit their work for inclusion in Projected Weekends – projections of creative work onto an outdoor screen located near 157 Thomas Street and Watling Street in Dublin 8, after dark every weekend. To date, work from animators, film makers, performance artists, research groups, photographers and illustrators has been shown.

The Projected Weekends showcase will only run for a further two months, so if you would like your creative work to be shown during March or April please send your work to exhibit@thedigitalhub.com in the following specification:

- Still images should be sent in jpg format*
- Video should be sent in .mov or .avi format*
- As the areas that are being used to display the projects are residential, sound will not be played.
- A 50 word biog is required.
- A 100 word explanation of the work is required.
- Work will be selected by an internal Digital Hub panel, and successful participants will be informed of the dates that their work will be screened.
