CPPP Process

Preparing the Digital Hub Development Plan

In accordance with Section 8 (g) of the Act, The Digital Hub is required to 'consult with local community interests in or adjacent to the digital hub as part of the implementation of the development plan;'

The CPPP Process

In order to comply with this requirement, and to continue the spirit of partnership with the local community that has always been central to the development of The Digital Hub, the Community Public Private Partnership, (CPPP), Steering Group has been formed to contribute to the development plan, which will articulate the next phase of development.
The CPPP process is chaired by Mr Peter Cassells, Executive Chairperson of the National Centre for Partnership and Performance, and former member of the Board of The Digital Hub.

The Steering Group consists of four members from the community, public and private sectors. The CPPP Steering Group has appointed 5 'working strands' to examine specific areas, which will be covered in the 'development plan', namely: Community, Education & Learning, Enterprise, Heritage and Property.

Development Plan

The Digital Hub Development Agency has formally adopted a “development plan” in accordance with Section 9 of the Digital Hub Development Agency Act 2003. The Development plan is the result of our extensive consultation process which is ongoing.
