Athena Media

Athena Media is a multimedia production and consultancy company based in the Digital Hub since May 2004.

It is led by Helen Shaw and produces radio, television, online and text projects. It is the company behind Ireland's premier podcasting portal, PodcastingIreland.ie, and the creator of the portal's channels O2 Making Waves, a new Irish music show, and Vhi Health Club, a consumer health show.

Recent productions by Athena Media are ‘Winning Women’, an eight part series for Setanta Sports celebrating Irish female sports stars, ‘Women and Words’, a six part series for RTÉ Lyric FM about Irish female writers, and ‘Is It Just Me?’ a ten part series for RTÉ 2 Young Peoples Programming about positive journeys through teenage years.
